ScoutStreak LLC ("ScoutStreak", "we", "us") respects the privacy of every visitor to scoutstreak.com. This page explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have over your information. The mobile application has a separate, more detailed policy presented at first launch.
What we collect on this site #
The marketing site at scoutstreak.com is intentionally minimal. The only personal information we collect is what you voluntarily submit through the launch-list form: an email address and the role you identify with (athlete, parent, high-school coach, college recruiter, athletic director, or other).
Standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamp) is logged transiently by our hosting provider for security and abuse prevention. We do not run third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or session replay tools on this site.
How we use it #
- To notify you when the ScoutStreak app launches.
- To send occasional development updates relevant to the role you selected.
- To improve the product based on aggregated, role-level signups (e.g. "X% of pre-launch signups are coaches").
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third party. We use a small number of essential service providers (email delivery, hosting, error monitoring) under contractual data-processing terms.
Legal basis (GDPR) #
For visitors in the EU, EEA, and UK, our legal basis for processing is your consent, given when you submit the launch-list form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing the address below.
Your rights #
Whether you live in the EU, the UK, California, or anywhere else, you have the right to:
- Access the information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that's wrong.
- Delete your record entirely.
- Object to or restrict our processing.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority, though we'd appreciate a chance to fix things first.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA) have the same rights, expressed under a different statutory framework. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.
Data controller #
ScoutStreak LLC, Illinois, United States. To exercise any right above, or to ask any privacy question, email swinnett@scoutstreak.com. We respond within 30 days.
Retention #
Launch-list emails are kept until 90 days after public launch, after which we either migrate them into our app's user database (with your permission) or delete them.
Cookies #
This site does not set any tracking cookies. A single, strictly-necessary cookie may be set by Cloudflare for security and bot protection; you can block it in your browser without affecting any feature of the site.
Updates #
If we change this policy materially, we'll update the date above and, if you're on the launch list, email you a notice before any new processing begins.
