How does the 15% recurring commission work?
At launch, when an athlete signs up using your referral code and subscribes to Athlete Pro or Athlete Elite, you earn 15% of that subscription every month for as long as they keep paying — paid monthly via Stripe Connect, no commission cap, no exclusivity claim on your clients. The referrals page will show a 30-day, 90-day, and lifetime revenue forecast. Pre-launch, the referrals page shows referral counts and grants Pro credit milestones (30-day credit at 3 referrals, 90-day credit at 10); cash commission and revenue forecast ship at GA.

Do I need a background check to work with athletes?
At launch (Independent Partner tier): identity is verified via institutional email or government ID, and you can take on adult clients (18+). To work with minor clients you'll need to wait for the Verified Partner tier (Q1 2027), which adds a third-party background check (Checkr or GoodHire — vendor TBD) + a reference check. Independent Partners auto-fast-track to Verified when that ships; Founding Partners get the background-check fee covered by ScoutStreak. The Independent tier still lets you work with adult clients (parents managing the recruiting process for their athlete, college transfers, etc.) from Day 1.

Three tiers, named honestly so families know exactly what each one means. Independent Partner (Day 1 launch): identity verified, self-attested experience, adult clients only. Verified Partner (Q1 2027): background-checked + reference-checked, eligible to work with minors with parent co-approval. Certified Partner (Q3 2027): completed ScoutStreak Certification Program (training + annual recertification), top directory placement, eligible for platform-led referrals. Each tier appears as a distinct visual badge on your profile — no 'Certified' claim ever appears without the work behind it. This is the same honest-hedging principle ScoutStreak uses for the 6-vs-14 sport compliance rollout.

Can I manage clients across multiple sports?
Yes. Consultant Pro includes sport-specific evaluation templates for football, basketball, baseball, soccer, and volleyball today, with the remaining nine NCAA sports rolling out before the public launch. Multi-sport clients (a quarterback who also runs track, for example) live in one card with sport-tagged evaluations.

How does my evaluation appear on an athlete's profile?
Your evaluation lives on the athlete's public profile next to the coach endorsement, weighted by tier: Certified Partner evaluations are visually distinguished from standard consultant evaluations. Recruiters see both side-by-side, can filter for athletes with consultant endorsements, and can DM you directly through the platform if they have questions. The athlete chooses whether to publish your evaluation; nothing is published without their explicit consent.
